What is Rotate PDF?

Rotate PDF turns sideways or upside-down pages the right way up. Rotate the whole document or just the pages you list, then save a corrected copy. The rotation is stored as a page setting, so text and images keep their original quality.

Scanned forms, phone-camera PDFs and documents saved from email often have a few pages turned sideways or upside down. Rotating them before sending makes the file easier to read and print, and some online portals reject documents whose pages are not upright.

  2. Select the rotation: 90° right, 180°, or 90° left (270°).

Important notes before you rely on the result

  • PDFs are processed in your browser tab with open-source libraries (pdf-lib and PDF.js) and are never uploaded.
  • Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened; remove the password in your PDF reader first.
  • Keep your original file. Large PDFs need free memory; on older phones work with smaller files or fewer pages at a time.

Limits and supported formats

  • Input: one PDF up to 150 MB. Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.

Does rotating reduce quality?

No. Only the page’s rotation setting changes; the content is not redrawn or compressed.

The page is still sideways after rotating. Why?

Try the opposite direction: 90° turns clockwise, 270° turns anticlockwise.
