Choosing the right image tool
Most image problems come down to two numbers: the file size in kilobytes and the dimensions in pixels. If a form says “maximum 200 KB”, use the Image Compressor and lower the quality until the size fits. If it says “600 × 600 pixels”, use the Image Resizer or crop to that exact size with the Image Cropper.
Photos are smallest as JPEG or WebP; screenshots, logos and images with transparency look best as PNG. The Image Converter switches between these formats, and Rotate & Flip fixes sideways phone photos before you share or print them.
Quick tips
- Resize first, then compress: fewer pixels always means a smaller file.
- For WhatsApp and email, 1280 pixels on the longest side is plenty.
- Keep the original photo; every JPEG re-save loses a little detail.
Image Tools: common questions
How do I reduce a photo to under 100 KB?
Open the Image Compressor, choose JPEG and lower the quality to about 60–70. If it is still too large, resize it to around 1000 pixels wide first, then compress again.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. All image tools work inside your browser, so photos stay on your device.
