How this was calculated
What is Merge PDF?
Merge PDF joins two or more PDF files into a single document, page for page, in the order you select them. Use it to combine scanned pages, attach annexures to an application, or send one file instead of many. The merge happens inside your browser, so documents such as bank statements or ID copies never leave your device.
Merging is useful for government forms that accept a single upload, for sending a complete set of documents to a bank or employer, or for keeping invoices of one month together. Because each page is copied rather than re-printed, the merged file keeps selectable text and the original image quality.
How to use Merge PDF
- Tap Choose PDF files and select all the PDFs at once, or drag them onto the box. Files are merged in the order shown.
- To change the order, choose the files again in the order you want (on a computer, select them one by one with Ctrl or Cmd held).
- Press Merge PDFs and wait for the progress message to finish.
- Download merged.pdf and check the page order before sending it.

Important notes before you rely on the result
- PDFs are processed in your browser tab with open-source libraries (pdf-lib and PDF.js) and are never uploaded.
- Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened; remove the password in your PDF reader first.
- Keep your original file. Large PDFs need free memory; on older phones work with smaller files or fewer pages at a time.
Limits and supported formats
- Input: PDF files only (.pdf), 2–30 files, up to 100 MB each and 250 MB in total.
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
- Bookmarks, fillable form fields and digital signatures from the originals are not carried into the merged file.
- Very large files need enough free memory; on older phones merge in smaller batches.
Privacy and data handling
Processed on your device. Your files are never uploaded to a server. The PDF library runs in your browser tab; closing the tab discards the files.
Merge PDF: frequently asked questions
Is there a watermark or page limit?
No. The merged PDF has no watermark. You can merge up to 30 files per run; for more, merge in batches and then merge the results.
Will the quality of my PDF drop?
No. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their original quality.
Why does it say my PDF is password-protected?
The file is encrypted. Open it in your PDF reader with the password, save or print it as a new PDF without a password, then merge that copy.
